Infrared Control Sensor IR V1

The Infrared Con­trol Sen­sor IR V1 is used for non-contact tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ments in dif­fer­ent cell cul­ture ves­sels (glass or plas­tic bot­tom) on the micros­cope. The tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ment can be per­formed on invert­ed and upright microscopes.The infrared sen­sor is con­trolled by Blue­tooth via the App „PeCon­Tem­p­Con” on the tablet or smartphone.

Description:

  • Sen­sor for non-contact tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ments in dif­fer­ent cell cul­ture ves­sels (glass or plas­tic bot­tom) on the microscope
  • Tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ments can be per­formed on invert­ed and upright microscopes
  • Has to be screwed into the objec­tive nose­piece like an objective
  • The sen­sor has a posi­tion switch and is ready to mea­sure in a ver­ti­cal posi­tion: If turned away from the ver­ti­cal posi­tion only by one posi­tion, it switch­es off
  • The screw base of the con­trol sen­sor is interchangeable:
    Four screw bases with dif­fer­ent thread sizes are avail­able, which can be sup­plied on request

  • Pow­ered by a replace­able bat­tery (CR2032) which sits in the mea­sur­ing unit and can be replaced (see appli­ca­tion examples)
  • After 60 min­utes with­out con­tact to the app, the sen­sor turns off to save energy
  • To pro­tect the sen­sor’s sur­face, a foil is clamped between the pro­tec­tion cap and the hous­ing (see appli­ca­tion examples)
  • Con­trol via the app „PeCon­Tem­p­Con”: The sen­sor is con­trolled by Blue­tooth via the App „PeCon­Tem­p­Con” on the tablet or smart­phone (pre­in­stalled on the includ­ed tablet or to be down­loaded from the Google Play Store it the sen­sor is ordered separately)
  • One-time tem­per­a­ture mea­sure­ments on the micros­cope or con­tin­u­ous mea­sure­ments with freely selec­table interval
  • Any num­ber of infrared sen­sors can be con­nect­ed to and con­trolled by the app
  • With the help of a sec­ond tem­per­a­ture sen­sor (Pt100) in the cell cul­ture ves­sel, the infrared sen­sor  can be cal­i­brat­ed via the app
