Control Sensor T 2000

The Control Sensor T 2000 is a small-sized control device for the measuring of the temperature in different cell cultivation vessels, especially “35” and “60” Petri dishes.
By means of this sensor, the actual temperature in the medium of the cell cultivation vessel can be measured in pre-experiments. Due to its small shape and the supplied accessories, the Control Sensor T 2000 can be used to measure the medium temperature under realistic incubation conditions as they exist in later experiments without a control sensor.

HEPA Filter

Reduced germinal contamination
The temperature control inside the incubator in the PeCon incubation system is effected by means of a regulated air flow. The germinal contamination in the interior of the incubator is reduced by a slight overpressure. At the same time, the ambient air is sucked in by the Heating Unit through a particulate filter, is heated up and fed into the incubator via a tube.

Eliminate germinal contamination
Due to a filter unit with a HEPA sterile filter, the germinal contamination inside the incubator can almost be eliminated. In combination with the Heating Unit, 99.99% of the germs are held back. Consequently, there are similar working conditions inside the incubator as there are at a sterile laminar airflow bench. The air velocity is not affected by the larger dimension of the filter surface (HEPA) with a particulate pre-filter compared to the previous filter.

  • The permanently sterile air flow does not only keep the air inside the incubator
    almost sterile but also decontaminates the surfaces inside the tube and the incubator.
  • Dependent on the germinal contamination of the ambient air, the particulate filter
    has to be replaced after approx. half a year, the HEPA-Filter not until after 2-3 years.
  • The air duct tube can be autoclaved (at 121°C, 1 bar).

The Heatable Incubation Insert P-Set 2000 is designed for the stable heating of cell cultivation systems above ambient temperature up to 60°C. It is equipped as standard with a slidable cover with a heatable glass plate. Because of its solid design, it has a high temperature constancy and thermal conductivity. Four exchangeable baseplates enable the use of a large number of cell cultivation systems. The incubation insert is suitable for most scanning and mechanical stages from ASI, Ludl, Märzhäuser, Prior etc. with a cut-out of 160 x 110 mm on inverted microscopes.
